The Steel Diver universe refers to the Super Smash Bros. universe's collection of characters, stages, items or other properties that hail from the Steel Diver series of submarine simulation series. The first and only game Steel Diver, released in 2011 for the Nintendo 3DS. The director was Shigeru Miyamoto. In the Super Smash Bros. series, the Steel Diver universe has one announced representative: the item Steel Diver in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U.
