Your Smash 4 prediction ballot
Hi, a new rule has been implemented, which mandates you can have no more than 20 newcomers on your ballot. As such, adjust your ballot, and have at least 10 veterans on it. Also as a piece of advice, the game is about who you think will make it in, not who you want to see in. As such, if you want a realistic chance of winning, you'll have to tone down the really out there picks that have pretty much no chance of making it in. Omega Tyrant 05:12, 5 August 2013 (EDT)
You still don't have 10 veterans, you need to select two more (in this game, Melee characters that were removed count as newcomers). Omega Tyrant 05:26, 5 August 2013 (EDT)
I just want to say that the reason that a few of my selections are Japanese is because not all Smash characters HAVE to be from NA, right? I mean, this game would be released in Japan too, and I'm pretty sure it's being made there, so it (in my eyes) would stand to reason that there could and should be Japanese characters too, like Haru Glory. - Your ballot is still invalid, you put Bowser on it, who has already been confirmed in the trailers. And you can technically pick Japanese only characters, but if no one here heard of them and they're not a major character in a noteworthy series, don't bet on them getting in.
- Also, read SW:FIRST and SW:NOT. If you don't want to be disqualified from the prediction game, you're going to have to put some effort into being constructive on the wiki. Omega Tyrant 06:10, 5 August 2013 (EDT)
- Alright, here's how things are gonna go down. I'm gonna close my account, and anything that doesn't get removed automatically due to that will either stay there or get removed by you. I had no idea there would be this much trouble with saying who I hope to be in the new Smash game. And just for your information, the reason I put who I WANTED to have rather than who I thought WOULD be in the next game is because 1. I created a forum for just that but it got deleted, and 2. I didn't care whether I stood a chance of winning or not. I feel like I'm being f****d with by you JUST because I'm new. I really could care less if that's true or not. I'll wait for you to reply to me, just in case you have anything else to say, and then you'll never hear from me again. —Preceding unsigned comment added by LucariOWNED (talk • contribs) {{{2}}}
- I created a forum for just that but it got deleted
- It didn't get deleted. It got renamed. Big difference.
- I didn't care whether I stood a chance of winning or not
- Why enter the contest then?
- I feel like I'm being f****d with by you JUST because I'm new
- You're not being fucked with, we're just informing you about things.
- you'll never hear from me again
- >continue arguing but then won't reply
- Dude, read the damn rules before you post. I have the contest rules up and everything, if you can't take the time to read them and post properly, then don't bitch when someone tells you are not following the rules. You being "new" is irrelevant; you're not posting properly and I'm informing you, trying to be as patient and helpful with you as I can.
- You just want to say who you want to see in Smash 4? Then post about it on your userpage, don't use the prediction game to do it, as that's not what it's for.
- And look at the damn recent changes and the move log, your forum was never deleted, it was moved to a proper name. Omega Tyrant 07:26, 5 August 2013 (EDT)
Okay, just hold up for a moment.
I'm sorry for how I acted, I was really out of place. I entered your game because someone on my renamed forum suggested it. From what I gathered, I could post who I wanted to see in the next game. I was obviously wrong; forgive me (you don't have to and I don't expect you will). I know you're not fucking with me or anything; I was just annoyed at how much trouble I had to go through and the fact that I had misunderstood the user who suggested your game. I also didn't know that my forum had been renamed rather than deleted; I had been a member for about 5-10 minutes so I made an assumption. Again, I apologize for my actions, my words, and my tone. You're an Admin and deserve more respect than what I gave you. I'm not normally like this.
Also, the reason I didn't reply was because my internet timed out (it does this every 6 hours for some reason). I had also decided to grab a bite to eat while I was gone. LucariOWNED (talk) 07:50, 5 August 2013 (EDT)
I was typing all this out and more and had clicked "Save Page", but you had made your last three comments/replies in the meantime, so everything I had typed got deleted.
By the way, I did actually read your rules, but I guess in the process of creating my ballot or whatever I forgot them, and didn't think to check back. I've got a bit of a bad memory, and things can slip my mind quite easily. LucariOWNED (talk) 07:56, 5 August 2013 (EDT)
Listen, I've read the site rules now. I still wish to get rid of my account, and I am fairly certain that if anyone can do it, or even get close, it's you guys. I will wait patiently for you Admins to reply. LucariOWNED (talk) 08:18, 5 August 2013 (EDT)
Never mind, it seems that my account no longer exists. If it does, well, I'm not gonna use it anymore, so it's as good as gone. LucariOWNED (talk) 08:21, 5 August 2013 (EDT)
- You can't delete your account, and you can stop being melodramatic. If you're edit conflicted, just hit the back button, and copy what you wrote, then refresh the page and paste it (making any adjustments for the new responses), you don't have to lose what you wrote when an edit conflict occurs.
