Player Matchups
ToastUltimatum
- Summary: ToastUltimatum was my first opponent from SmashWiki. Very kind, but has a time change of around 6 hours, so be prepared to fight early.
- Match summary: Most wins were 1-stock from both of us, excluding the Ice Climbers; most Ice Climbers wins were 2/3-stock wins. Toast however won most, small rematches.
- The Good: A campy yet bipolar-like aggressive Toon Link, with an Olimar that punishes a lot if you fail a grab.
- The Bad: An Olimar that tries to grab too much if you are near, and a Toon Link that seemingly down airs too much.
- Other: Watch out for input lag caused by different locations.
Bandit
- Summary: While I was waiting for Omega/Brian, Bandit joined in on IRC and wanted to brawl me. I went ahead and brawled. And I just completely failed 3 matches out of 3.
- Match summary: Most losses were when both of us were at our mid-50's, one stock less. The last match was two stock from Bandit.
- The Good: Read my main weakness: I attempt to grab way too much. Ended up getting punished... a lot.
- The Bad: 3 matches weren't enough to spot mistakes.
- Other: A breath of fresh air from lag from ToastUltimatum's fighting.
Omega Tyrant
- Summary: Omega Tyrant challenged me after fighting ToastUlimatum. I always rematched OT later.
- Match summary: Originally, most wins were 3-stocks from Omega Tyrant, excluding a Snake 2-stock against my Jigglypuff. When I rematched him most wins were 2-stocks from OT, a few 1-stocks and 3-stocks along the way.
- The Good: Spaced me out with b-airs, avoided my grabs, punished my miss grabs... ugh.
- The Bad: He can sidestep sometimes, then try a grab. You can punish this, although it is hard. Kirby's neutral air is a good slow move to punish side-steppers.
- Other: Those b-airs.
FishPlay
- Summary: FishPlay is my sister. That's all I need to tell you.
- Match summary: I usually win. Occasional wins go to her since I like to SD a lot.
- The Good: Extremely defensive. Dodges with good timing.
- The Bad: Her technical skill is low. I have yet to teach her. Also, she likes something better then 1v1 because she likes to do NOTHING. Good luck though, she'll interrupt only a certain person's combos. And that last person will have a stock or two to burn through against her 3 or 4 stocks.
- Other: She hates 1v1. She likes free-for-alls.
LightningBlue
- Summary: Initially a +4, LightningBlue wanted to challenge me again.
- Match summary: Initially all wins before changing my mains over. Then he usually won.
- The Good: Good combos with Peach.
- The Bad: Predictable (see Peach shorthop? He will d-air to n-air you). Also likes to taunt: even in conditions where you can still be alive.
- Other: Has yet to take a match of my Ice Climbers.
1337 B33FCAKE aka Brian
- Summary: After Brian fixed his Wii that was broken for ~2 months, I challenged him to a Brawl. He accepted.
- Match summary: Trading wins.
- The Good: F-smashs my rolls at the right time. Knows how to play against the Ice Climbers.
- The Bad: ?
- Summary: Didn't use Falco, for the matchup with IC's is a disadvantage.
Mr. Anon
- Summary: Mr. Anon came into the IRC, bored as ever and so asked people to Brawl with him. I accepted.
- Match summary: All were 1-stocks, me or him.
- The Good: Good Kirby combos: either fthrow-uair or dthrow-utilt. Celebral mindgames beat me.
- The Bad: Edgeguarding him isn't a big thing. Likes to Kirby dair for edgeguarding, and Inhales for quite a while.
- Summary: A pretty good Kirby player.
Smash Master
Uses: <- Never plays anybody else
- Summary: ...
- Match summary: Originally 2-stocks before trading wins.
- The Good: Mashes out of grabs fairly quickly. Reads OK.
- The Bad: Doesn't handle pressure well (e.g desynced blizzards). Also doesn't know what stages are legal and what isn't.
- Other:
- He has playstyles:
- "Roll Style": Rolls and then f-smashes. Shield, punish and then he'll change.
- "Dash Style": He will run at you and start dash-attacking. Shield (ALL THE WAY) and punish.
- "Final Cutter Style": He will use Final Cutter repeatedly to abuse the waves.
- "Edgeguard Style": He will use any of the following
- B-airs
- Final Cutter
- F-air
- Hammer
- D-air
- Taunt
- He has playstyles:
Vincent Tran
- Summary: Felt bored and decided to challenge anybody at Brawl. I agreed.
- Match summary: Some 2-stocks, 1-stocks, if it isn't being 1-stocked.
- The Good: Waits patiently for a good smash-attack opportunity. Does risky yet rewarding things.
- The Bad: Sometimes gets too risky.
- Other: He doesn't visit the wiki as much, but will be on IRC a lot.

How do you go from File:Onix (SSB).png to File:SSB-OnixHQX.png?
(I don't advertise this, but this is really useful.)
I lose to Level 9 CPUs. Why you should avoid training with Level 9s:
Predicatable
- They are extremely easy to tech-chase.
- They don't mind-game.
- They always air dodge when you try to attack them in the air.
- They mash out of grabs in a fixed rate.
Unfair
- They have extreme reflexes.
- They do not fall for any mind games.
- They can 0-to-death easily in Brawl-.
- They pummel you with the max given the time they have and throw you, if you don't fluctuate your mashing speed.
Stupid
- They can't react well against spamming.
- Taunting at them won't change their mentality at all.
- They taunt.
Other
- They don't give you good bragging rights.
It won't make you any better than Omega Tyrant.
