A Friend Icon is the image that appears next to a player's name in the Friend Roster of the With Friends option when playing on Wi-Fi. There are 77 different Icons, excluding Miis. The default Friend Icon, and the Icon that appears next to the names of unregistered players is the symbol of a figure in a circle. Icons must be unlocked in a certain way (such as unlocking their respective characters).
