Tagging things
If a page is tagged for speedy deletion, you don't need to tag the talk page. Admins usually remember to delete the associated talk page afterwards. If they forget to do so, then you should tag the talk page, but it saves time by just tagging the pages themselves. Mr. Anontalk 14:28, 18 August 2012 (EDT)
- It's not even a case of remembering, when you're deleting a page, there's a tickable box on the page (this is ticked by default on the wikis I administrate) that lets you delete the talk page at the same time. That's why the delete summaries are always the same. Toast ltimatum 14:54, 18 August 2012 (EDT)
- There is no such function here. Omega Tyrant 15:02, 18 August 2012 (EDT)
- Having tested on said wikis, I appear to be mistaken. Unless Lylat Wiki does (Can't exactly check that right now). Either way, that function should exist, makes me wonder if that's installable. Toast ltimatum 15:09, 18 August 2012 (EDT)
- I tagged the talk pages to prevent them from appearing in Special:WantedPages. Mousehunter321 (talk · contributions) 20:15, 18 August 2012 (EDT)
- That makes no sense. How can an existing talk page be on WantedPages? Toomai Glittershine The Keymaster 20:21, 18 August 2012 (EDT)
- Correction: I edited the talk pages because they redirected to deleted pages, and since they needed to be deleted anyway, I tagged them for deletion instead of simply blanking them or breaking the links. Mousehunter321 (talk · contributions) 20:24, 18 August 2012 (EDT)

For the last time: I edited the talk pages to remove the red links. The talk pages I tagged were those of redirects with deleted targets, which had red links because they redirected to the talk pages of deleted pages. In case you're wondering why I didn't simply blank the talk page, to reiterate, I tagged them for deletion in case the admin forgot. Normally, I wouldn't bother editing the the talk pages if not for the fact that they contained red links. Mousehunter321 (talk · contributions) 19:09, 27 September 2012 (EDT)

While I can't say you're wrong, I feel obligated to inform you that the wording you used is against SW:QDV, and must also remind you to check page history a bit closer before applying a speedy delete tag. Toomai Glittershine The Indescribable 18:36, 5 October 2012 (EDT)
- You're right. That said, my excuse for tagging the page for deletion was that in my haste to deal with the vandal, I overlooked the fact that the pages with the moved titles retained the history of the complete article, while the redirect(s) with the original page title did not. On Target Test images...
I have the images for Melee, if you need those.

- Thanks for reminding me, but as I'm going to sleep right now, those images might have to wait. Mousehunter321 (talk · contributions) 02:12, 15 October 2012 (EDT)
Question
Why do you change the article icons parameters from "melee" to "ssbm"? It's even more pointless than changing "Image:" to "File:". Toomai Glittershine The Victorious 00:16, 4 November 2012 (EDT)
