Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome, editors and users, to the Smash Arena! Each week this forum hosts a tussle between two characters from the Super Smash Bros. series! The winner gets, well, nothing. It's more of a poll but functionally, this is a popularity contest. You may vote for your favorite or who you think would win in an competition between the two combatants that round. No, you don't have to vote for the character with strength & power, just vote if you are a total fanboy of the character. So what are you waiting for? Get voting! Remember, you can remain anonymous! If you have any requests for future fights, please feel free to leave a message here.

The Rules, Briefly

  1. You can only vote once.
  2. Vote under the name of the fighter you are voting for.
  3. When voting, you can give a brief comment on why you voted for that fighter, or you can just leave your signature.
  4. ALWAYS put # when you vote so it can help us count the votes!!
  5. ALWAYS put in your signature with ~~~~. This is required for both signed on users and anon users.
  6. Any comments about the fight should be left in the comments sections.
  7. If you wish to leave a comment in more than one section, do not edit each section individually.
  8. DON'T LEAVE A SPACE BETWEEN YOUR POST AND THE POSTS ABOVE AND BELOW YOURS!

  4. Falco has always been a favored character in both Melee and Brawl, while I never been particularly fond of Diddy Kong. While Falco is no longer a main for me (fallen secondary), I'm still miles better with him than with Diddy Kong and Falco is a greater threat to my mains than Diddy Kong is.   8. Falco is better than DK because he can chainthrow to a dash attack cancelled upsmash for 50 something damage and he can do other things like lazer lock, DSHL, etc. Plus, you can grab diddys bananas and just start comboing Diddy with them. Doc King (talk) 11:07, 30 October 2010 (EDT)

While they hail from two universes at completely different stages of scientific development, these two adventurers have the same job description - travel the land to collect a whole bunch of useful (and some useless) tools in order to defeat all those enemies that refuse to stay down. Whose collection of knicknacks and strangeness will allow them to win this battle?

  5. Again, useless vote is useless. If they really had a fight, think about it: Samus has chozo armor, hyper mode, missiles, the morph ball, lasers, screw attack, space jump, phazon, and a whole team.   6. Samus > Link mainly for strength. I mean, seriously! Link got nerfed transitioning from SSBM to SSBB. Samus' final smash (Zero Laser, for those who don't know) is way more powerful. Link's FS is just focused on one opponent (unless someone else is stupid enough to walk right in it.) While Samus' FS hits everyone. It's powerful enough to OHKO! Okay, I'm done lecturing.
