Everybody seems to hate him. The thing is, though, he's the guy who created the series, and people only seem to hate him because he took out some unintended physics exploit and slowed down the game, so that people who have trouble following the fast action can play. He added in the very first true story mode in the game, and people attack him because he added one thing that was too random.
