Animal Crossing known as Dōbutsu no Mori (どうぶつの森, lit. "Animal Forest") in Japan, is the first of a series of life simulation video games developed by Nintendo EAD, and was released in Japan in April of 2001. Later games in the series include Animal Crossing: Wild World for the Nintendo DS, and Animal Crossing: City Folk for the Wii.
In Super Smash Bros Brawl
- Smashville is a stage based on the villages of the Animal Crossing series.
- Mr. Resetti appears as an Assist Trophy in Brawl.
