Low Falling Speed Is Bad?

Many people say that Luigi falls slowly, which they view as bad. I may not have as much knowledge as a professional, but I don't understand how falling slowly is a bad thing. If anything, it seems like fast-fallers, like Fox and Falco, are at a real disadvantage. They have a hard time recovering and can be chain-grabbed easily, so wouldn't this mean that fast-falling is a bad thing and slow-falling is good? Someone please explain! - GalaxiaD, 3:41 PM, April 18, 2008 —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.253.174.246 (talkcontribs) 20:44, 18 April 2008 (UTC)

Personally I think each has its advantages and disadvantages. Fastfallers are harder to recover and hit airborne targets with and suffer more from Spikes, while slow fallers are easier to juggle and attack midair. - Gargomon251 21:24, 18 April 2008 (UTC)
I think that characters in the middle of the fall speed are best. They fall fast enough to dodge attacks, but slow enough to recover. Thadster567 00:35, 19 April 2008 (UTC)
Therefore, low falling speed isn't bad, nor is fast falling speed. They are equal.--Oxico (talk) 19:37, 28 May 2008 (UTC)
I think that fast fallers are hard to interpret and are faster, but slow fallers own all at their aerial game.Reptiliusofpeace (talk) 22:57, 20 August 2008 (UTC)Reptiliusofpeace

Strategies & Tips

Added new section with some strategies that I personally use (I main as Luigi). Feel free to add some of your own.

Flyingemus 16:16, 26 April 2008 (UTC)

Luigi is my second main, and I use this strategy frequently against low-percentage foes:
  • Grab them and immediately D-throw them.
  • Spam your up-smash until they escape.
  • Grab and U-throw.
  • Get back, spam your fireballs when they land and get up.
  • Repeat the first three steps.
  • Grab, B-throw off the edge.
  • If not K.O.ed, Bair 'em off.

Where are Luigi's Standard Moves?

Was anyone going to add Luigi's, because I believe the other characters have a "Standard Moves" section in their articles. —Preceding unsigned comment added by ClonedPickle (talkcontribs) 03:47, 15 May 2008 (UTC)

Recruiting

OK all who are willing. I need lots of help. I need all the moveset to look all alike. I need people willing to help! If you choose to accept this challenge, use Meta Knight's moveset as a perfect example. If you want to help the cause, leave your username under the category on my userpage called "Recruiting". This message is also there. Let's fix these movesets. --Oxico (talk) 20:49, 27 May 2008 (UTC)

Alright, what's the big idea!?

How come one of Luigi's pros is that he "blah blah blah studder-stepping blah blah." What the heck is studder-stepping?! I remember way back (not really that long ago) one of Mario's pros was "Can stutter step" and in both cases, I look it up and get nothing! I'm getting rid of it. Is there evn a such thing as studder (or stutter) stepping? Maxiscool (talk) 18:47, 7 June 2008 (UTC)

New Format!

I changed the format to match the new one(attributes, not pros and cons). If you think I did crappy, please just edit it, don't put it back to the old format.Smorekingxg456 (talk) 22:37, 20 August 2008 (UTC)

Thanks! Now I feel REALLY Special. Smorekingxg456 (talk) 23:00, 20 August 2008 (UTC)

I did some more to change it to the format. the full thing should look like Meta Knight (SSBB), Falco Lombardi (SSBB), and i think Mario (SSBB) is comepletely in the new setup. Luigi still has a little bit to go. Smorekingxg456 (talk) 18:32, 22 August 2008 (UTC)
