Kanto (disambiguation)

Kanto is a fictional region that appears in the Pokémon universe. Kanto was the very first region for both the games and the anime to take place in. The Kanto region houses the original 151 Pokémon plus various other Pokémon in the future games. Ash and his friends venture through Kanto for the original Pokémon series. The handheld games Pokémon Red & Blue, Pokémon Gold & Silver, and Pokémon Firered & Leafgreen all takes place in Kanto.

The Kanto region has also played a part in the Super Smash Brothers. All the Pokémon in Super Smash Brothers and most of the Pokémon in Super Smash Brothers Melee come from the Kanto region. The majority of the Pokémon themed stages take place in Kanto also. In SSB, the Saffron City stage takes place on the rooftop of some of the sky scrapers in Kanto. The stage Poké Floats in Melee takes place in the skies of Kanto tha includes various Kanto floats.
