SmashWiki needs help adding these new parameters to Smasher infoboxes, refer to the guidelines here for what should be included in these new parameters. |
| When adding results to Smasher pages, include each tournament's entrant number in addition to the player's placement, and use the {{Trn}} template with the matching game specified. Please also fix old results on Smasher pages that do not abide to this standard. Refer to our Smasher article guidelines to see how results tables should be formatted. |

Smash Panel Power Rankings
The Smash Panel Power Rankings was a power ranking that listed the top 25 Super Smash Bros. Melee players in the United States. It was compiled in 2006 by Hyugaricdeau, Marcus, Wife, KishPrime, Eddie, HugS, dcx1287, and Chillin. The rankings were updated over the course of the year, but it was later discontinued, leaving the Melee community without a national American power ranking or any other similarly scoped ranking for many years. The idea to rank the absolute best players in competitive Melee was later revived with the SSBPD, as well as the SSBMRank in 2013, albeit as a worldwide ranking. RetroSSBMRank would also later emerge to retroactively rank the ten best Melee players in the world each year from 2003 up to 2012, the last year before SSBMRank introduced a community accepted worldwide ranking.
