The Scuffed World Tour is an upcoming Super Smash Bros. Melee and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate tournament intended to serve as a replacement for the cancelled Smash World Tour 2022 Championships. It will be hosted by Ludwig on December 18th, 2022. The 8 players with the most points on the Smash World Tour 2022 standings for both games will be invited; if one can't attend, the player with the next highest points will be invited. Ludwig has also said he is considering adding "8 more players that we handpick for each game."[1] There will be a pot prize of $50,000 ($25,000 for each game). The tournament will raise money for VGBootCamp, who lost hundreds of thousands of dollars due to the cancellation of the Smash World Tour 2022 Championships,[2] and had to cancel major tournaments Glitch: Duel of Fates and Double Down 2023 in the process.[3]
