Merrick is a Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Bayonetta player from Michigan. He was formerly ranked 8th on the West Michigan Power Rankings and has notable wins over Onin, BooBear, Scarby, Adorable Knight, and Dux. He is considered the best Bayonetta player in Michigan.
Merrick played Bayonetta upon release in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and has wins over Gomakenpi, Miloni, BooBear, Nebula, Ksev, Adorable Knight, Nen, and exJORDANary. He was ranked 6th on the final West Michigan Power Rankings. Before Bayonetta he solo mained Luigi before retiring the character due to his exploitable recovery, especially as DLC released.
Alongside competing regularly at locals and traveling to majors primarily in the Midwest, he is also prominently known for kickstarting the tournament scene in West Michigan when Brawl, Smash 4, and Smash Ultimate first released. He regularly ran events for Calder Clash, Tempest, Rehearsal, Culmination, and currently is the head tournament organizer and streamer for All Star Colosseum.
