Mario Kart DS

Mario Kart DS is a racing game for the Nintendo DS featuring numerous Mario characters, as well as R.O.B., who hails from two old NES games, Gyro mite and Stack-Up. The players not only have to race, but can also use items to attack each other. This game is very similar to the Mario Kart game on WII.

Super Smash Bros. series

The Mario Circuit track appears as a stage in Super Smash Bros. Brawl, one of the karts appears as a trophy in SSBM, and Bowser's dash in SSBM utilizes a motor, presumably from his kart. In addition, the aforementioned Mario Circuit stage contains Shy Guys as a hazard, presumably a reference to fact that Shy Guys can be used as racers in multiplayer if a player does not own Mario Kart DS.

The theme for Waluigi Pinball was remixed for Super Smash Bros. Brawl.

Items

Here are some items that are used in the Mario Kart DS game and what they do.

• Banana: When you drop the Banana back it stays on the field until someone slips on it or when you finish the race. You can also throw the Banana forwards.
• Triple Banana's: Triple Banana i the same as a single banana but you have #3 instead on #1.
• Green Shell: When thrown, the Green shell will travel in a strait line and bounce off the walls until it hits a target.
• Triple Green Shell's: These Shells are the the same as a Green Shell but these also spin around you so if someone bumps into you loss a shell but the get knocked of the kart and you have #3 instead of #1.
• Red Shell: A Red Shell is the best Shell in the Mario Kart DS game. When you use it, it automatically locks on into the target in front of you, so if you are coming 1st there not much point in it.
• Triple Red Shell's: These Shells are the same as the redshells exept you have #3 of the spining around your KArt
