This page documents the update history of spirits in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. (The list may be incomplete. If anyone finds an error tell me or edit it)

The following minor changes have been made to Spirits:

- Merman changed to Fishman
- "Yoshi's Island Series", "Yoshi's Story", and "Yoshi's Woolly World" changed to "Yoshi Series"
- Throw Power ↑ (Primary) → Strong Throw (Primary)

Bug: A Spirit's max experience is based on their stats, slots, enhance-ability, and type and are then hard-coded for that Spirit. The changes to the above Spirit's stats/slots were made without changing their max experience, resulting in them requiring less experience than normal.
