The Ultimate Partnership (相棒とともに！ 最強コンビはどのファイター!?) was an Event Tourney with a theme of fighters that work as a team, whether they be a two-in-one character or interchangeable. It ran from 6 a.m. on September 6, 2019 to 6 a.m. on September 9, 2019 (UTC). During the event, only certain characters can be used.

- With a total number of 7 available fighters, The Ultimate Partnership has the least amount of available fighters for an Event Tourney.
- Thus far, this is the only Online tourney with more than one downloadable fighter in it, having two, those being Joker and Banjo & Kazooie.
- None of the the fighters who debuted in Smash 64 are in this Tourney.
