Knock-off

Knock-out (abbreviated to KO) is the term used to describe the situation where an opponent is knocked off of the screen to the point where they are temporarily/permanently taken out of the game, as a result of his/her opponent's actions. This results in the loss of one stock towards the player who attained the fall in stock matches. In time matches, it results in the addition of one point to the player who attained the KO and a loss of one point to the player who got the fall.
