Greninja is male in Ultimate
Because Greninja's Final Smash incorporates Ash-Greninja, that means the Greninja seen in Ultimate is male. As you can see on this Bulbapedia page, Ash-Greninja is always male, due to being an event Pokemon based on the Greninja Ash has in the X and Y anime.
