I think we should merge this with bow, it just moves faster and has a different name, fire bow has more differences, and its on the same page Dr.Savage (talk) 02:49, 25 August 2008 (UTC)

I disagree for the same reasons as Gale Boomerang. Miles (talk - contribs) 23:27, 11 November 2008 (UTC)

Same here. Im Alex25, King of Randomness! Say Hi to me! Random stuff! 23:41, 11 November 2008 (UTC)

I think it should be the other way around. Bow should be merged into this. Hero's Bow is the name of Links' AND Toon Link's(check the Dojo) in Brawl, and the only difference from this page and bow is some of the details and Fire Bow. Just make Fire bow a subsection and say Hero's Bow was previously called Bow in Melee and SSB64.Smorekingxg456 17:56, 26 November 2008 (UTC)

Fire Bow

Is this the official name of this move / weapon? -Because I'm pretty sure it isn't canon.... Zixor (talk) 02:02, 2 March 2009 (UTC)

Fixed your spelling, and the official names of Melee special moves are found on their characters' Adventure/All-Star trophies. Cheers. Miles (talk) 02:17, 2 March 2009 (UTC)

Fire Bow #2

Is it worth mentioning that Young Link couldn't even use Fire arrows in Ocarina of Time? ShanicpowerShanicpower.png Make it rain! 11:36, 22 November 2012 (EST)

Split

Support per MuteSpittah's criteria, and also the fact that the current handling of this is far too brief IMO. Nyargleblargle.pngNyargleblargle (Contribs) 15:19, 24 April 2016 (EDT)

Yeah, YL's Fire Bow (with mention of the TL custom) should be its own page, whereas the OoT/TP Bow move can remain here. Miles (talk) 15:29, 24 April 2016 (EDT)

I would agree too despite Fire Bow's section being not much to talk about. Dots (talk) Mega Man X SNES sprite.png The Gold 16:10, 24 April 2016 (EDT)

I also agree, though the big problem I see is the section being so short. Looking at Nyargle's draft though, I could see it working out. Disaster Flare Disaster Flare signature image.png (talk) 22:54, 24 April 2016 (EDT)

I'm the tagger, so obviously I support. MuteSpittah (talk) 07:26, 25 April 2016 (EDT)

If the section is expanded upon to be longer and more in-depth, then I support. CpnFlacon (talk) 10:10, 27 April 2016 (EDT)
Support for consistency. John John3637881 Signature.png PK SMAAAASH!! 15:19, 28 April 2016 (EDT)

Categories won't show up.

Despite the added categories, they won't show up. Either the school computer that I'm using isn't updated or there's a problem holding this page from showing the categories. Dots (talk) Mega Man X SNES sprite.png The Mr. Saturn 09:38, 11 May 2016 (EDT)

Move

The attack was named "Bow" in the original and Melee. Hero's Bow now only applies to Toon Link thanks to the Traveler's Bow in Ultimate. Bow is the most simple, generic name.

Reading the above split section, I think I'll save discussion on a potential merge with Fire Bow for after this discussion is over. TheNuttyOne 21:09, 6 July 2018 (EDT)

Support Eh, makes sense. I'm normally an advocate of sticking to the status quo, but given how strong the variance of bow moves there are, this is something that probably needs attention. Black Vulpine of the Furry Nation. Furries make the internets go! :3 21:14, 6 July 2018 (EDT)

Split instead of move. All three Links have bow moves in Ultimate with distinct names and gameplay characteristics and they probably shouldn't get lumped together anymore. Miles (talk) 17:53, 11 July 2018 (EDT)
