Goomba (enemy)
Goombas, or Little Goomba (Japanese: クリボー, Kuribō, kuri, "chestnut", + bō, "kid") are common enemies that appear in the Mushroom Kingdom stage of Super Smash Bros. Melee's Adventure mode, as well as in Crates and Barrels. Goombas walk back and forth on the arena and often walk off the edge (if present). If you make contact with one, you will take damage. Jumping on them, attacking them, or throwing them will KO them. For every Goomba you KO, you get 150 points added to your Goomba KO bonus.
- In versus mode Goomba can inflict 8% damage on a player. In adventure mode, the amount of damage he inflicts depends on the difficulty setting.
- Goomba also appears in the game as a trophy.
In Super Smash Bros. Brawl
Goombas makes an appearance in a trailer in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. Goomba is seen standing on top of a pile of bananas while Hammer Bro. is a driving a vehicle full of them. In one scene, Donkey Kong punches a Goomba of a cliff. Template:Mario Melee Template:Mario Brawl
