2GGC: Nairo Saga was a national Super Smash Bros. for Wii U tournament held in Santa Ana, California on June 10th-11th, 2017, organized by 2GGaming. It was announced at 2GGC: Civil War as the 5th qualifier in the 2GG Championship Series.[1]
This event was dedicated to popular smasher and streamer Nairo. In addition to singles and doubles tournaments, it also featured an in-person ladder called 'Naifu Wars' and a 'Waifu Wars' round robin featuring Nairo, ZeRo, CaptainZack, Pink Fresh, Twi, and Cosmos. A special modpack including custom character costumes and musics, which are a staple of Nairo's streams, was used throughout the event.
Nairo Saga is the first 2GGC event to honor a specific player, which was the tradition of 2GGC's predecessor 2GGT.
Naifu Wars: World War 1 was a qualifier for this event.

- Salem, despite getting upset 1-2 by JK in pools, made an impressive losers run, defeating the likes of Mr. R, Tweek, KEN, Elegant, Ally, Nairo and MkLeo before losing to ZeRo in grand finals to place 2nd.
