Race to the Finish (disambiguation)

Race to the Finish is a minigame of sorts appearing in Super Smash Bros. and Super Smash Bros. Melee. In the N64 title this stage found within the 1P Game required the player to rush through 4 tiers of obstacles in a limited time with the goal of reaching an exit at the end. In Melee this game appeared in Classic mode as a stage with the same purpose but with updated graphics and dozens of possible exits. The Melee Race to the Finish also adjusted the amount of time allotted according to the character's speed. Once reaching a certain point in the obstacle course it divides into 3 paths ultimately leading to a final exit. Since their are dozens of exits the player is awarded with coins according to the difficulty of the exit they reached
