Talk:Tournament rulesets (DSB)
I don't know much about official tournament terminology, but I'm not sure DSB is a logical acronym for the japanese n64 game. Although in english the second and third game are just the first games name with a suffix added, in japan the first game had a unique prefix not in those games titles, namely "Nintendo All-Star". Shouldn't the acronym therefore be NASDSB, NADSB, ASDSB, or something incorporating the prefix in some way? ♡FirstaLasto♥ 12:49, 10 May 2014 (EDT)
Why a unique page for DSB only?
Why is there a distinct tournament legal page for only the first Japanese Smash Bros. game? Arguably there either ought be pages for Japanese SSBM/SSBB/etc. as well, or this page should be merged into Tournament legal (SSB). Just wondering why this particular page and no others. Is it the case that only the first game in the series happens to have different legal stages/some other legality difference between Japanese and non-Japanese rulesets, and other games do not? - I oppose a merge. Merging these 2 pages would be very messy, and besides that, they are 2 different rulesets, and thus should have 2 different pages. Serpent King 18:51, 11 December 2015 (EST)

- Why is this particular region and game the only separate page then? What's so special about Japan+Smash 64 that it deserves its own page and not, say, Japan+Brawl or Europe+Melee? I'm not saying merging is necessarily the right move, just wondering why the uniqueness. Zowayix (talk) 22:53, 11 December 2015 (EST)
