Stage
How could it've been a placeholder, a few challenge images show that it has up to 8-players, so it seems that it could've been a cut feature, much like the Metal Face stock icon. Nintenzilla (talk) 11:34, 15 May 2015 (EDT)
- You're guessing. There's no solid proof of why that icon exists. Miles (talk) 12:06, 15 May 2015 (EDT)
- I don't know, but I'm just trying to draw a conclusion. What do you think it means? Do you think it would be a stage or something else? Nintenzilla (talk) 12:32, 15 May 2015 (EDT)
- If you're guessing, then it's speculation. Nothing else. Aidan, Master of Speed and Aura 12:36, 15 May 2015 (EDT)
- I think it was probably a stage, sorry but there's no other logical explanation of why else it could be there. Nintenzilla (talk) 12:47, 15 May 2015 (EDT)

(Reset Indent) Ok, now it makes sense! Nintenzilla (talk) 12:55, 15 May 2015 (EDT)
Origin
The rest stops in Kirby Super Star's Arena seem a more likely origin: they are actual rest areas between battles, contain a limited amount of healing items which don't regenerate (plus copy abilities) and show a box with the upcoming opponent noting how many battles are left. Was GCO ever confirmed as the actual origin, or is it just a guess? -Menshay (talk) 17:17, 10 November 2015 (EST)
- Agreed. ---Preceding unsigned comment added by a turkey! Or maybe DatNuttyKid. 17:19, 10 November 2015 (EST)
- I believe the GCO origin is based on the music used for this area in Melee matching that subgame. Arena uses a different musical theme in KSS. It wouldn't hurt to mention both, though, since there's some thematic similarities in both cases and both are KSS. Miles (talk) 17:25, 10 November 2015 (EST)
