  • spew out paralyzing exhaust fumes
  • jump to reach an airborne player, dealing high knockback.

Trophy Description

Devil Car

A fearsome enemy from the Mother series, this car attacks mercilessly, closing in on fighters before trying to hit them as it spins doughnuts. No, these aren't the kind you eat—they're the kind that hurt. Its exhaust fumes can cause paralysis too, so keep your distance until it's between attacks.

Origin

The Devil / Psycho Car's sprite in Mother.

The Devil / Psycho Car is one of several vehicular enemies in Mother, and can appear in the outskirts of the towns of Merrysville and Reindeer. A palette swap of this enemy also appeared known as the Mad Car, and a similar enemy named the Mad Taxi would appear in the game's sequel, EarthBound, in Fourside and Summers.

The Devil Car's ability to paralyze players in Smash Run is based on its ability to incapacitate Ninten, an asthmatic, with its exhaust fumes, disabling Ninten from attacking in a battle against it.
