StreetSmash
StreetSmash is a mode in Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS. It is a minigame utilizing the 3DS's StreetPass functionality. The game involves controlling a marble-like object, officially referred to as a "token", and attempting to knock opponents' tokens off the top-down perspective stage.
The controls in this mode are a simplified version of those used for standard Smash gameplay. Players move their token with the circle pad and can attack opponents by ramming into them using the A button. Holding down the A button allows for a charged attack with greater power but additional vulnerability before and after use, similar to a smash attack. Players also have access to a shield by using the R button, and can counterattack out of it with the A button if an attack is shielded at the last second. Players can also dodge by moving the circle in a direction in which your token will dash to the side specified.
There are five different choices in StreetSmash. StreetSmash lets you battle everyone you have met using StreetPass who has the game as well. there is a maximum of 12 people who can wait for you to fight them. Practice lets you fight against up to 12 opponents. It is the same as StreetSmash except you gain gold at a reduced rate you fight generated opponents and not people met via StreetPass. Profile lets you change your greeting with a maximum of 17 characters. Also you can select a token to use from all of the 49 fighters. Records lets you view the past fights. you can view your opponent's greeting and the results for the match. pressing the X button lets you view what token was fought most, survived most and easiest K.O'd.
