- At Umebura 8, the first national tournament for Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS, Nietono, Abadango, and El take 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place respectively in singles.

- At GUTS 3, ZeRo, Emukiller, and Pink Fresh take 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place respectively in Project M singles, and ZeRo and Emukiller win Project M doubles. Hax wins Melee singles, Hax and Mafia win Melee doubles, and ZeRo wins Brawl singles.
