Yo

Not that your edit was incorrect, but in the future, if you're going to remove large amounts of text, you should probably leave a clearer reason as to why. "Redundant due to special moves sections below" would have worked well in this case, so I could clearly see why -500 something in bold red was showing up in recent changes. Also, if another user reverts you, don't revert back, discuss it on the talk page of the article in question. Thanks. DoctorPain99 11:28, 14 April 2014 (EDT)

Alright, my apologies, I'll be sure to keep this in mind in the future. Laikue (talk) 12:13, 14 April 2014 (EDT)

Corocoro

Hey, was there any other Corocoro issues that showed any other custom moves? The Smash Brotha (talk) 10:09, 5 August 2014 (EDT)

Make a new section next time please, yes there were, but they were from Famitsu, not Corocoro. They've already been added to the pages. Laikue (talk) 17:00, 9 August 2014 (EDT)

My legend of Zelda expansion edits.

Your edit on the basis of Pokemon getting 4 in Brawl is wrong because they also got 2 cuts in Brawl which made Pokemon only get 2 more characters than the previous game thus keeping my statement valid.

MarioIsTheBest (talk) 18:42, 6 September 2014 (EDT)

True, but remember that in six days we'll know whether or not any series got 3 new reps in Smash 4. (and due to the leaks, I'd say it's safe to say Mario will have at least three more than brawl) But even still, I don't think it's really all that great of trivia, maybe instead mention that Zelda had the biggest Rep boost in the series in the trivia on Zelda (universe) page? I feel like that'd be a better place for it anyway. Laikue (talk|contribs) 20:30, 6 September 2014 (EDT)

E3 Error?

I don't want to get into an edit war (especially considering how screwed over this wiki is getting...), so I'm bringing this question over here.

What error? And when was this confirmed? Aidan the Intermediate Gamer (talk) 20:20, 12 September 2014 (EDT)

With the confirmation of Stagnant Shuriken for Greninja as a Neutral instead of an Upwards (in some stream, forget which), and Hammer Bash not being a Down Special custom in the 8/29 trailer. Plus, no Side or Standard special customs were found in the demos, only up and down specials (which is suspicious), so it's best to just leave it as is. Also, thanks for bringing this here, instead of creating an edit war. Laikue (talk|contribs) 20:23, 12 September 2014 (EDT)
That does sound suspicious...interesting. Thank you for the clarification, I just tend to get skeptical over information such as this (I'm sure you can relate).
Yes, well, an edit war this point in the game is not the wisest path to choose...I've also been in an edit war (see my talk page for the synopsis), and, as a consistent contributor to the SmashWiki, I would not be happy with the receiving end of a block. Peach's Custom Moves

I strongly disagree with your decision of removing the table containing a list of Peach's custom moves as well as their descriptions on this page : Peach (SSB4). Could you please tell me why you'd do that? I believe these informations are of vital importance rather than a simple list. I also question you to refer them as "terrible". --ZeroBlindDragon (talk) 20:00, 20 September 2014 (EDT)

No, no, no, you mis-understood what I meant, the table looked too big and out of place, I felt that the custom specials should be listed under the regular special moves, in example:
  • Neutral Special: Blah, blah, blah
    • Custom Neutral Special 1: Halb, halb, halb
    • Custom Neutral Special 2: Lahb, lahb, lahb
  • Side Special: Blah, blah, blah
    • Custom Side Special 1: Ahlb, ahlb, ahlb
    • etc. etc.
I do think the custom specials should be listed on each character's page, but not in such a distracting table. As for calling it terrible, I didn't really mean it's terrible, I'm just in a bad mood today so you can see it in my typing. Laikue (talk|contribs) 22:47, 20 September 2014 (EDT)
I see... Don't worry about it. However, I do not see the table as "distracting". I feel it was a much better way of ordering Peach's special moves. I planned to add Peach's basic special moves into the table as well. As a Web designer, the informations being into this kind of list feels far too condensed. Plus, having both a list AND small table feel a little reductant, don't you think? Why not simply have a bigger table? Futhermore, I wouldn't think it's a good idea to associate each one of Peach's custom moves under her basic special moves. Grumpy Toad, for example, is associated with her Normal B, but not with the move "Toad". Perhaps you can allow me to experiment with a table and then we can talk about it again? I want Peach's SSB4 page to be the best one on Smash wiki. x) Thank you! --ZeroBlindDragon (talk) 23:42, 20 September 2014 (EDT)
OK, here's the deal though, this is the design point we're gonna have on every page eventually, one nice big table for the full moveset. However, we do not yet have enough technical data to justify adding these yet, so I suggest we just hold off on the table for now. Or, actually, you can put the entire moveset into a table, skip the technical bullshit for now, throw a technical data needed box onto it, and boom, you've got it. But I highly suggest that you do this only if you have every move of hers. Laikue (talk|contribs) 23:56, 20 September 2014 (EDT)
