Franchise description
The game was one of the early games released for the Family Computer Disk System, being the second original title after The Legend of Zelda. Originally, the game was a Japan-Only release, however, the game released worldwide on the Virtual Console service on the 3DS.
In Super Smash Bros. Brawl
One of the music tracks from the game, titled "Douchuumen (Nazo no Murasamejo)" plays in the Mario Bros. stage. Takamaru appears as a sticker.
