Pac-Man (パックマン, Pakkuman Puck Man), occasionally stylized as PAC-MAN, is the main character in the Pac-Man series. He is Namco's Mascot and is the 4th third party character in the Super Smash Bros. Series after Snake,Sonic, and Mega Man
Character description
Pac-Man debuted in the arcade game, Pac-Man, in 1980. He initially began with little to no personality traits, but was fleshed out in the both Pac-Land and the Pac-Man World series. In these games, Pac-Man is shown to have a family that he deeply cares about, and is characterized as a fun-loving individual with a large appetite.
Recently he was rebooted with a more detailed design for a new set of games/TV series Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures wherein a young Pac-Man is the sole "yellow one" who must protect his world from Invasions of Ghosts.

Trivia
- Super Smash Bros. 4 is the fifth game with Mario and Pac-Man together. The first game they ever crossed was in the 2003 Gamecube release Pac-Man Vs. which was developed by Shigeru Miyamoto and starred Mario's voice as the announcer. Their second crossover and the first for them to both actually appear together was the 2005 arcade game Mario Kart Arcade GP, which was a crossover of Mario Kart and Pac-Man. The arcade game then got two sequels.
- Super Smash Bros. 4 is the second game to feature Mega Man and Pac-Man in a fighting game together, the first being the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita versions of Street Fighter X Tekken.
- Pac-Man, Bowser, and Sonic appeared in the 2012 Disney movie Wreck-It Ralph.
- Mario was only mentioned in the movie, and was originally going to appear, and Mega Man's foe Dr. Wily was meant to cameo before being dropped.
- Shigeru Miyamoto requested Pac-Man to be playable in Super Smash Bros. Brawl to Masahiro Sakurai but Sakurai, thinking of Pac-Man's pizza shape, thought it was far-fetched at the time.[1]
