The Backstory
Xaltis, or Taylor Rose, is a Smasher from Lake Worth, Florida.
Taylor Rose has always played Smash Bros, ever since the beginning when the first game, Super Smash Bros., was released for the Nintendo 64. His main is Fox, with his ultimate Fox combo as his signature move. He also played Melee for all 7 years it was out, prior to the release of Super Smash Bros. Brawl. His main was Fox once again, and his secondary was Marth.
He attended a few tournaments for Melee, although he didn't really know many special techniques like other players did. When Super Smash Bros. Brawl came out, he was excited that Sonic the Hedgehog was announced for it. With that being his favorite character and his main, he was happy with Brawl. Although he doesn't main Fox anymore because of the few changes that he didn't like about how they creators of Brawl made Fox.
He is known as Xaltis on the site Allisbrawl.com and has attended many tournaments in person and online. His first in person tourney for Brawl was at the Nexus Gaming Center. He made it into the semi finals only to lose to a great smasher by the name of Ryan Sparks. Even though Taylor thought Ryan's DK was good, he was being sandbagged. The next time he came to the tournament at the Nexus he lost again in the 1st round to Ryan's Pokémon Trainer, although they were close matches. The next time they met Taylor was sure to take him down, which he did defeating Ryan's Zero Suit Samus and his DK. Now accomplishing that he faces 2 new challenges. Another Falco player by the name of Tommy G and Afro Thundah would be 2 really hard to smashers to beat. Being their friend though they have fun doing matches and hanging out together.
The Rising Star
As time went on things became more difficult for Xaltis. He was faced with a challenge, did he want to be the best? The answer was yes he did so he decided to play sonic. His sonic wasn't bad at all, it could have very well taken him to the top, but metaknight came into his life. He dropped everything for metaknight including personal responsibilities, just so he could be one with the One True God™. This metaknight was truly legendary, rumored to be able to beat vinnie's ic's. However, the south florida terror squad wouldn't let him play metaknight, they said "you can't play the bat sir Taylor." so off Saltis went back to the drawing boards. Exact quote-"Hmm I should definitely play falco because he reminds me of peach." So, Xaltis'es falco came to life. He became an incredibly talented Falco player, even dominating tommy g(who he used to lose to!) as well as Seibrik's(rumored gawdlike) Falco. This was his prime...
The Rivalry
However, all good things come to an end. Xaltis quit smash for the new and upcoming game league of legends. He became quickly good at this game too rocking a legendary Sona and trying to go pro. he played with his ex-rival Tommy G. Things went smooth until he realized that league sucked and went back to smash. Except this time he was no longer a top player, he had taken too long of a break. Eventually he couldn't handle the inevitable, rumored losing to a guy by the name of ApricotJelly. He told himself he would be the best...but first must conquer his arch-rival ApricotJelly. Even with his legendary Sonic he could not take down this invinicible Yoshi eventually even posting on Smashboards about how bad Sonic Vs. Yoshi is. This is where 'Saltis' came from because of how salty he would get over yoshi. If he saw Yoshi any where else he would have to leave that room because of how angry that "green pos" made him. They would go back and forth when our hero realized Yoshi is actually a terrible character, and that sonic is just slightly less worse. Their rivalry went on for months;it always could be seen on Smashboards. They were rumored to have one last final match to decide who truly was the better player. This match has yet to occur...we are still waiting for this match. Hopefully one day it will occur.
Today Xaltis can be found playing Project M still hoping that he'll actually get to play ApricotJelly one day. ApricotJelly has been MIA ever since he declared the high stakes match against Xaltis.
