- At Revival of Melee 7, Mango, Mew2King, and Hungrybox take 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place respectively in Melee singles, and Mew2King and Hax win Melee doubles.

- Bumpers are confirmed to be returning as items in the Wii U version of Super Smash Bros. 4. Additionally, Flippers have been confirmed not to be returning.

- Dedenne is confirmed to appear in a non-playable capacity in Super Smash Bros. 4.
