Forum:Smashpedia
No, this isn't a forum to rename the site. But I stumbled upon something of interest today; did you know SmashWikia has a Spanish version?

...with over 700 articles. Smashpedia is the Spanish SmashWiki we left behind! In addition, German SmashWikia: "Hauptseite". What do you guys think we should do? Ask them to move too? (Spanish SWikia looks particularly awesome). --Havoc48 >:D!!! 16:36, 29 January 2012 (EST)
- At the very least, we should try to contact them and make them aware of us (if they aren't already). Maybe they will want to move. Mousehunter321 (talk · contributions) 16:39, 29 January 2012 (EST)
we've already talked a year ago about leaving wikia, but the community decided that we're fine where we are, but I think we could add links like SmashPedia has information in spanish about this theme and Smashpedians could add SmashWiki tiene más información sobre este tema en inglés. but I'm not sure about it, a few months ago, we talked about an alliance with this wiki and with the wikia-domain smashwiki but we didn't decide nothing, so let's see what happens with this.br>Hi I'm Fenix 10:55, 20 April 2013 (EDT)

The reason I remember most fondly as to why I claim SmashWiki ill-advises Wikia links is because of a spell when links to the Metal Gear Solid Wikia were all reverted, I do not recall who by. I was then willing to believe that Wikia links outside of userspace were forbidden, as the whole concept of NIWA is to conspire against money-driven wiki hosts, one of which is Wikia. Smashpedia, while I have not viewed it, sounds to be a good place. I'm just not sure NIWA would allow, especially when Smashpedia I would imagine is quite closely related to SmashWikia.
