Hi there!
Welcome to our wiki, and thank you for your contributions! There's a lot to do around here, so I hope you'll stay with us and make many more improvements.
- Recent changes is a great first stop, because you can see what other people are editing right this minute, and where you can help.
- Questions? You can ask at the Help desk or on the "discussion" page associated with each article, or post a message on my talk page!
- Need help? The Community Portal has an outline of the site, and pages to help you learn how to edit.
I'm really happy to have you here, and look forward to working with you!

Thanks for helping me with the Charge table! Mr. Anontalk 21:52, 31 October 2011 (EDT)

Redirects
Wouldn't it be better to fix red links instead of creating less-than-useful redirects for them? Toomai Glittershine The Hammer 19:04, 13 November 2011 (EST)
- Good point. Mousehunter321 (talk) 19:05, 13 November 2011 (EST)
Note
I like your contributions. :) ..... Need Something? work :P 19:22, 14 November 2011 (EST)
- We have a lot of uncategorized images, unused images, red links (wanted pages) etc. If anyone wants to work on those, click on the link Special:SpecialPages or press alt+Q to find them.Mousehunter321 (talk) 19:26, 14 November 2011 (EST)
Moving images
When you move an image, make sure to edit the article it's used on and change it to the new name. I'm getting really tired of doing this for you, so could you please do this for the images you are moving? BlindColours 20:51, 15 November 2011 (EST)
- I understand. Mousehunter321 (talk) 20:59, 15 November 2011 (EST)
- Thank you. :) BlindColours 21:05, 15 November 2011 (EST)
Another?
- Agreed. Without people like you, I don't know where this wiki would end up. Mr. Anontalk 23:34, 17 November 2011 (EST)
Just one thing
Remember to mark your edits as minor edits. You can set it so that all of your edits are minor edits by going to your preferences. Otherwise, the main page will be filled with your contributions, and it will be difficult to view other edits. Mr. Anontalk 23:36, 17 November 2011 (EST)
- Done.Mousehunter321 (talk) 23:39, 17 November 2011 (EST)
- Just a little something, but you are FILLING recent changes, making it hard to find other edits, to the point that OT had to bump his Data Chart talkpage so it wouldn't get knocked off recent changes due to your rapid changes. However, you are greatly improving the wiki, so I don't mind it that much, I just really wanted to get this out. You don't have to do anything concerning it. BlindColours 21:03, 18 November 2011 (EST)
- I set my preferences so that my default setting is "This is a minor edit". You probably already know this, but you can choose to "Hide minor edits" button on the Recent Changes page. I'm currently trying to work through the backlog of uncategorized images, and am about halfway through. Mousehunter321 (talk) 21:07, 18 November 2011 (EST)

Edit summaries
A tip here: If you are making many edits, you can save time spent on edit summaries by putting your summary into the first edit and for all later edits just mark as minor edit. That will still let people know why you are editing, and it saves you time. Mr. Anontalk 20:37, 1 December 2011 (EST)
- Good idea. Thanks. Mousehunter321 (talk) 20:38, 1 December 2011 (EST)
When marking images for deletion
...you shouldn't be displaying the newer image in the deletion template, it looks a mess. Instead, use the syntax [[:Image:Example.png]]
; this will create a link to the image instead of the image itself. (This works for things like categories too.) Toomai Glittershine The Keymaster 23:18, 1 December 2011 (EST)
- Very well. Mousehunter321 (talk) 19:05, 2 December 2011 (EST)
Since you may not have seen this
One of the smasher articles you tagged may actually be notable. Since you tagged the article, I would like to take part in the discussion of its notability. Omega Tyrant 02:54, 4 December 2011 (EST)

I initially reverted you because you gave no reason whatsoever for your original revert. Secondly, the reason you just supplied is not satisfactory for why you reverted my entire rewrite of the intro, which I gave reasons for. Mr. Anontalk 23:31, 15 December 2011 (EST)
- OK, I just realize that you did not simply revert my edit there. Still, I feel "physics mechanic" is a better way to introduce the term, as it is only a technique in competitive play. In other words, it is not intrinsically a technique, it is a normally unimportant physics mechanic that happens to come into use in advanced play, and even then its use is not as much as people say. Mr. Anontalk 23:35, 15 December 2011 (EST)
- I reverted your edit because I felt that it was unclear. People generally know wavedashing as a "technique", not a "physics mechanic" (though the article does describe why it is a physics mechanic in the intro). Wavedashing is commonly used in competitive play, and almost all professional SSBM players perform it, which is why I described it as a "technique". (One notable counterexample is Aniki who doesn't wavedash). Mousehunter321 (talk · contributions) 23:44, 15 December 2011 (EST)
undo
To undo an edit such as mine, you can simply go under history of that page and press the undo of the most recent edit on it. ..... chat 3 days til Chrismas 19:16, 22 December 2011 (EST)
- You edited the page 3 times. That means he would undo one, then another, and then another. MegaTron1XD 20:15, 22 December 2011 (EST)
- Actually, I viewed the edit I wanted to revert to, hit edit, and then saved the page. I'll keep in mind that I can simply add/subtract text in one edit to make the page look like a previous version. Mousehunter321 (talk · contributions) 00:26, 23 December 2011 (EST)
Redlinks
When removing redlinks, just remove all the brackets instead of leaving 2 so it doesn't look weird. BlindColours 17:32, 23 December 2011 (EST)

Why are you reverting all of my edits? ..... Merry Chrismas 19:35, 24 December 2011 (EST)
- I altered some of your edits because they either changed the meaning of the article or they contained false information. Many of your grammar fixes, while in good faith, were unclear or changed the meaning. Additionally, your edit on Event 23 said that Slippy invented something about "clocking"; he never did. I appreciate your willingness to contribute, but your grammar, as well as your factual accuracy, really could use some work. Mousehunter321 (talk · contributions) 19:42, 24 December 2011 (EST)

Edit summaries
I'd like it if you stopped criticizing Dot's edits in your edit summaries. Nobody is perfect, and it's downright rude. BlindColours 17:10, 8 January 2012 (EST)
There are some users who can't be banned because they didn't actually break the rules, but making pointless edits multiple times is not constructive at all. Mousehunter321 (talk · contributions) 17:13, 8 January 2012 (EST)
- That gives you no right to criticize him in your edit summaries. Once again, not everybody is perfect. He's still made some good contributions. BlindColours 17:15, 8 January 2012 (EST)
Very well then, I won't criticize this misguided user because not everyone's perfect. And I saw your not-so subtle edit to my talk page, Dots. Mousehunter321 (talk · contributions) 17:18, 8 January 2012 (EST)
Dots, I never called you an idiot. I said that you have bad grammar and that you should contribute in areas where that won't be such an issue. Please don't misconstrue my words like that. Mousehunter321 (talk · contributions) 17:23, 8 January 2012 (EST)
Excuse me, BlindColours, but Dots can speak for himself. Whether I "made it seem like he was an idiot" or not is irrelevant; you don't need to waste your time making up lies about other users. Your habit of putting words in others' mouths is quite vexing. I never said that my edits were "gold". Mousehunter321 (talk · contributions) 00:11, 9 January 2012 (EST)

Donkey and Diddy outfits
Hi. U undid my edit of removing those sentences about DKC. I removed them because to my knowledge there's no way to play with Donkey Kong as Player 2 in Donkey Kong Country and the opposite for Diddy (same for DKC2). I checked here and there, but I can't find any source saying that the Kongs have alternate outfits in DKC! I feel like whoever added that sentence just speculated that those were from DKC, because are the first alternate outfits, whithout even tknowing how the game works, and every other editor simply took that for true. So that's why I removed them, but was I wrong? You know that there are alternate outfits in Donkey Kong Country?--Kombatgod (talk) 05:52, 19 January 2012 (EST)
For easy reference, here is my edit. Supermariowiki:Diddy Kong#Physical Apperance states that "In Donkey Kong Country, an alternate Diddy's clothing was a yellow tank top and a yellow cap. It appeared when two players wished to play independently." I don't know about the claim that the black costume was used for player 2 in Donkey Kong Country. Mousehunter321 (talk · contributions) 17:23, 19 January 2012 (EST)
- Okay, that's another page saying the same thing so I might be wrong, but still it doesn't say anything specific. What does "play independently" mean? Is there a specific 2P mode where you can select the same Kong? I couldn't find it in the game's pages. It gives me the same feeling of randomness. Anyway it's pointless to argue, if we don't know the games deeper. Let's keep it this way, but I still wish someone who knows the game better to either confirm or deny those sentences.--Kombatgod (talk) 21:56, 19 January 2012 (EST)
{{head}}
I noticed you've been doing good work at adding head icons to smasher/ranking/tournament/etc pages. So I figured I'd start up the Head template, which'll be useful in other situations as well. Toomai Glittershine The Undirigible 17:37, 21 January 2012 (EST)
- Thank you. But I'm not quite sure how to use the new template. If I enter {{head|Fox|SSBM|16px|Fox (SSBM)}}, I get when I wanted . I don't know if my syntax is off, or if the template needs some more tweaking. Could you please take a look? Mousehunter321 (talk · contributions) 13:52, 22 January 2012 (EST)
- I wrote the example on the template page wrong; I'll fix it. Toomai Glittershine The Incomprehensible 14:04, 22 January 2012 (EST)
Smash Master's tier list
WTH did you do to my Brawl tier list?!?! Smash Master (talk) 20:20, 24 January 2012 (EST)
- I added nowiki tags to remove the redlinks you were creating. Though, in hindsight, there was a better way to remove the redlinks, which I shall implement immediately. Apologies for the inconvenience. Mousehunter321 (talk · contributions) 21:01, 24 January 2012 (EST)
Apologie accepted, but let me tell you a little something: only I'm allowed to edit my tier lists, BTW, what are redlinks, and what's going on with the signitures? Smash Master (talk) 01:35, 25 January 2012 (EST)
- only I'm allowed to edit my tier lists
- While users are advised against editing other users' userpages out of common courtesy, grammatical and code fixes are generally acceptable. There is nothing physically preventing a user from editing another user's userpage (including subpages) unless the page in question is protected, such as this one.
- what are redlinks
- Redlinks are essentially pages that do not exist, whether because they have not been created yet, such as Smasher:Otori or because they have been deleted. Any text placed between [[]] will become a redlink if it is not a page on the wiki. When you created your tier lists, you linked to a large number of unnecessary pages, such as "Bang bang". I solved the problem by removing the link= code from each image on your tier list, which allowed the text you included to show up when hovered over by a cursor but without linking to the text itself.
- what's going on with the signitures?
- See SW:SIGN for the changes in the signature policy. Mousehunter321 (talk · contributions) 21:01, 24 January 2012 (EST)
Just a note
I don't think you should have used "vandalism" as your undo reason for Sederts' edits. That should be used for cases where the vandalism is obvious and blatant; those edits could have been simply misinformed in some way. Toomai Glittershine The Non-Toxic 21:53, 24 January 2012 (EST)
