Young Link was a playable character in Super Smash Bros. Melee. Young Link's model was based on the child Link model from Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask. This character is nearly identical to Link. There are a few noticeable differences including his weight, size, speed and special moves. Young Link uses fire arrows instead of regular arrows and he wields a wooden shield (The Deku Shield from Ocarina of Time) instead of a Hylian shield. Young Link will return in Super Smash Bros. Brawl, however, he'll be in his Wind Waker/Phantom Hourglass incarnation. His name has also changed to Toon Link.
