Event Match 10: All-Star Match 1 is the tenth event match in Super Smash Bros. Melee. As an available character of their choice, the player must play through five matches in succession and defeat five opponents, all within a time limit of 4 minutes. Each battle is a one versus one match against a character from the Mario series, and each takes place on a different Mario series stage. Each opponent starts with 1 stock, while the player starts with 2 stocks. The player's stock and damage percentage carry between matches, as is the case in All-Star Mode.
