Moving images

Your reversions on Richter Belmont and Richter (SSBU)

Can you please explain why you made those reversions seemingly without a reason? The info is correct making it seem like you’re replacing it with incorrect info. Because the edits come from a banned user, first of all, and second, Richter does indeed have differences, even if miniscule, and allowing the edits by the unnamed IP to stand means the articles contain incorrect information. And third, we don't have the game in our hands, so we cannot personally confirm if Richter does or does not have any differences beyond the one listed, and word of mouth from someone without an account is hardly enough evidence to allow such an edit to stand. Grappling Hook

Which menus does Joker use a grappling hook in, if you don't mind me asking? Luigi86101 (talk) 16:47, April 17, 2019 (EDT)

Just off the top of my head, I remember him swinging in on a grappling hook when you go to the System Menu (the place where you can load old saves or return to the title screen) from the pause screen. Hinata (talk) 16:48, April 17, 2019 (EDT)

Spirits

Hey there, just want to advise you on something.

While there's no problem with making your own spirits on the Wiki, I highly recommend to avoid giving the filenames the same naming conventions as the official spirits we have uploaded here, as there would inevitably be issues should an official spirit that has the same exact name as one of your spirits actually get released.

For example, if a spirit called "Aubrey" does come into Smash and isn't related to Ohmori, we're gonna want to name it "File:SSBU spirit Aubrey.png", but since your spirit already has that name taken, your spirit either has to be renamed or have its image replaced with something completely unrelated to what it originally was.

I'm sure this isn't a huge deal, but I thought it'd be nice to warn you in advance just in case something like this does eventually happen. The Jacketed Terrapin 03:57, July 6, 2021 (EDT)

Yeah, it would've been smart to avoid using the official file names. I made that page late at night, and since I used our official Spirit table template, the empty files ended up defaulting to those file names, and I just forgot to change it. A somewhat recent policy update is that uploading a lot of personal images is discouraged. If you intend to do upload a lot of user images again, you could consider using {{External image}} if they are hosted elsewhere. --CanvasK (talk) 22:56, December 4, 2024 (EST)

Phoenix Wright

I have no idea if I have to post this on your designated Phoenix Wright page, so I'm posting this on your talk page. I wasn't sure why most Smash fans want Dante or Phoenix Wright as the 4th Capcom character, because there are other Capcom characters that Smash fans want in Smash. I think UMvC3 made fans want PW as it showed how he can work in Smash.

By the way, I can tell fans are eager for PW in Smash by looking at your mod page. Even though I support other Capcom characters in Smash (Chun-Li, Morrigan, etc.), your hard work in Phoenix Wright page looked as if he is a legitimate character in Smash.
