Can someone upload a new version of this file? It's really low-quality right now-- there's a weird echo effect to it. It's probably due to the room it was recorded in or something. -- FanOfRosalina2007 (talk) 17:31, August 9, 2024 (EDT)

That is what it sounds like in game. Lots of Melee sounds have the echo in the file. --CanvasK (talk) 17:43, August 9, 2024 (EDT)
Actually just went and ripped the files myself and there isn't as much echo as in game. Guessing the file was recorded with a capture card or emulator and was cropped from that, with Melee adding a bunch more echo in playback. --CanvasK (talk) 17:57, August 9, 2024 (EDT)
Okay, thank you. It still plays the old version on the sound test page, though. I'll see if I can take care of that somehow. -- FanOfRosalina2007 (talk) 20:58, August 10, 2024 (EDT)
...Nope, it still sounds the same on the debug menu sound test page. That's funny, because I can hear the version you uploaded on the file's actual page, but not the sound test page. Hmm. What's going on with that? You didn't change the file's name, right? -- FanOfRosalina2007 (talk) 21:02, August 10, 2024 (EDT)
It is likely that the file is still cached in your browser. Clearing should fix it. I think CTRL+F5 or CTRL+SHIFT+R will do it. If not, lookup how to clear your cache for you browser/device. --CanvasK (talk) 21:04, August 10, 2024 (EDT)
No, it's still playing the old sound even after I tried what you said a few times. Oh well...I guess I'll just have to deal with it. Thanks anyway! -- FanOfRosalina2007 (talk) 22:39, August 11, 2024 (EDT)
