HKSBC Winter Special 2023 was a Super Smash Bros. Ultimate tournament held in Hong Kong, on December 23rd, 2023. This tournament had Newcomer's Challenge as the main event and 3v3 Draft Squad Strike as the side event.
Newcomer's Challenge was an arcadian made for newcomers and players up to mid-level. Players who placed in Top 8 in the HKSBC Gold Rush #1-6 were not eligible for the event.
All players were allowed to enter the 3v3 Draft Squad Strike. Before stage striking, each player was given 2 character bans which applies to both players in the whole set.
The top 2 players in each event would be given a free pass to HKSBC Gold Rush Finale.
