Super Smash Bros. Ultimate winners Japan Miya

Seibugeki 12 was a Super Smash Bros. Ultimate tournament held in Hachiōji, Tokyo, on December 3rd, 2022. Due to issues with internet in the venue, the livestream could not start until Top 8. Some sets were recorded off-stream to remedy this.

The tournament was originally planned for August 6th-7th, 2022, but was cancelled. The scheduled venue, Cocobunji Hall (not to be confused with Coconeri Hall, the venue of Seibugeki 8 to 11), decided to charge a participation fee, and pointed out that charging a participation fee would make it a for-profit event, which might violate the guidelines for Smash Bros. in Japan. Since the organizers couldn't hold it at that venue and couldn't find a replacement venue in time, they had to cancel that iteration of the tournament.[1]
