Yata! is a Project M player from Michigan; they have experimented with a multitude of characters, but are most proficient and familiar with their main, Snake. Yata! is known for their extensive first-hand research into Project M. They have constructed extremely thorough spreadsheets detailing Snake's attributes and combo options, among other things. Yata! co-authored the Collaborative Project M Snake Guide and gathered extensive tournament data for use in PMRank 2016 and PMRank 2017.
As of late January 2018, Yata! has retired from competitive Project M.
