This article is about the glitch in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. For the technique in Super Smash Bros., see Teleport (SSB).
For Mewtwo's up special move, see Teleport.
Lucas, still in a 'hanging' animation, is dropped by the Drop Block and falls down.

The teleport glitch is a glitch in Super Smash Bros. Brawl that causes a character to detach from a ledge, while remaining in the ledge-grabbing animation, and also allows the character to teleport.

This glitch can be performed by using any character in a custom-built stage by placing a Drop Block above a ledge, and making the drop block fall down when one is clinging onto the ledge. The character should descend with the drop block, but still be in a hanging animation. If the player presses the shield button or the attack button, the character will be teleported to the most recently grabbed ledge, and do a roll or a ledge attack, dependent on the button pressed.
