Stack-Up/Gyromite
  • Because R.O.B. lacks a home stage, the Living Room stage is used instead, referencing that R.O.B. is a real-life video game peripheral.
  • Fighters on Living Room are decreased in size relative to their surroundings; the puppet fighters' giant status reflects the peripheral's real-life size.
  • The puppet fighters favor using Gyros, which serve as the primary gameplay mechanic of Gyromite.

Trivia

  • R.O.B., EarthBound, and Pikmin are the only series represented by a fighter to use photographs for their spirits.
  • The R.O.B. series is tied with the Duck Hunt series with the least amount spirits of first-party series represented by a fighter with a total of 3.
    • It, along with Ice Climber and Final Fantasy, are the only series that don't have a primary spirit associated with them.
  • The R.O.B. and Wii Fit universes are the only universes whose spirit battles never contain fighters outside their series.
  • Even in the Japanese version, R.O.B's Fighter Spirit still uses the Robotic Operating Buddy rather than the Family Computer Robot.
