About me

You probably know me as a Mario Kart 7 player who hasn't played online in a long time, the kid who wants Toad playable in Smash Bros, or a former Miiverse artist who made EarthBound artwork. The one thing that hasn't changed is that I'm a dedicated Nintendo fan... and I still want Toad playable.

My name was intended to be "SuperToad64" but the mii character limit prevent me from doing so, and when I tried to use it here the name was already used by someone else!

Mario Kart 64 was the first video game I ever played. Toad was my go-to character and he somehow became my all-time favorite character in video games, hence why I want him so badly in Smash, despise Peach with a burning passion. Isaac Marshall will always remain Toad's true and best voice actor, although his Japanese voice was good too. His modern voice sucks

As for the aforementioned MK7 player, I just haven't gotten around to playing anymore due to playing other games, and because the game was overrun with hackers last time I played. I only have no more than 20,000 VR. But that doesn't mean I'm gone for good, I'm still going to play here and there online occasionally, just not that often. And yeah if Miiverse were still around I'd still be making art on there.

As you can tell, I like Mario Kart a lot, with my favorite being Double Dash. I prefer how the older entries gave lightweights the best speed (it seemed much more balanced that way) and how they balance the driving skill aspect and item luck better than Mario Kart Wii. Unpopular opinion: Oh no! Opinions on the internet! Wii is one of my least favorites (only behind Super Circuit and the origina) because I don't like how it focuses on item luck a lot to win, you can play so good and almost finish 1st and then... *blue shell* *red shell* *lightning* *5th pow block*. (BTW Wii does NOT have rubber-band AI)

And that's something I generally like better in games (and one of the reasons I don't like MKWii and Brawl much): I prefer games that are more skill empathized and have skill based mechanics, games that focus too much on luck based mechanics to where you could go from first to last in a matter of seconds because of bad luck are just more annoying than fun. (But I will make an exeption if it's the main feature of the game, like Mario Party)

• As for Smash Bros games, was my first Smash game and was my favorite until Ultimate. Other Nintendo games I like are Animal Crossing, EarthBound, and Pokemon.

I know a ton about Eartbound and I've been adding EarthBound related information and other stuff. I'm mostly on WikiBound trying to revive the site although of course I'll contribute here as well.

Smash Bros information

Note:I don't play Smash competitively so don't expect me to know anything about advanced techs and frame data.

• Super Smash Bros. 64 being the first game is still solid and fun. I consider Ness #1 on my personal tier list. I think people overrate Pikachu a bit. He's one of the best characters, but I don't consider him THE best, I think Kirby is better. It's my 4th favorite Smash game.

• Super Smash Bros. Melee is impossible for me to play competitivly, the advanced techs are too precice for me to use. I mostly play it for silly free-for-alls with the CPUs with items very high and all banned stages available, that said it's my second favorite Smash game.

• I don't like Super Smash Bros. Brawl much. I only play it for casual free-for-alls and the Subspace Emissary, other than that,the game is too slow and there are a lot of stupid things and the EarthBoundians' extremely unnecessarily stupid grab-release problems, makes the game un-enjoyable. It's my least favorite Smash game.

• If Project M were a real Smash game, it would take the spot of my favorite Smash game. Everything I hated about Brawl was fixed, and new cool stages and mechanics were added. Wavedashing is so much easier and the EarthBoundians don't have the stupid extra 10 grab-release frames. Best of all, I can hacklessly mod the game thus fulfilling my life-long desire of Toad being playable! With the cost of losing a Ness palette.

• Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS is OK. Having a portable Smash game is nice, and there are cool stages like Rainbow Road (too bad it wasn't MK64's), and of course theres the awesome Smash Run. But SR and the exclusive stages are the only reasons I still play it, everything else is underwhelming. It's my least favorite after Brawl.

• Super Smash Bros. for Wii U (and the Wii U as a whole) is the definitive version of SSB4 and SSB5 "SSB4". Fun stages, smooth gameplay, and great graphics are what make the game fun. Stage Builder was a huge improvement, free draw lets me put so much more detail on my stages (Although I would GREATLY APPRECIATE not having to re-draw the entire stage if I accidentally press undo twice, ever heard of a REDO BUTTON?!?!). My most popular custon stage was Tazmily Village. This is my 3rd favorite Smash game.
  • On a side note I'm probably the only one in the "unverse" who considers both versions of SSB4 as seperate games.

• Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is truly the ultimate game. Having every fighter an almost every stage is amazing BTW Please bring back Rainbow Road and Poke Floats back Sakurai!!, and the gameplay mechanics like directional air dodging really improved on a lot of things. Stage Builder is so good now, I even remade my Tazmily Village stage now better than ever. This is truly my favorite Smash game.

• As you can probably see the EarthBoundians have taken over the Smash rosters for me. Ness is my favorite character and I believe Ness is very underrated in 64 and Melee and not the low tier they make him look.

• There are no universes I generally dislike, though the one that interests me the least is Fire Emblem. The games just look cliche and uninterestering to me, and the characters in Smash are both boring to watch and play as, and aggravating to fight against (STUPID COUNTER ATTACKS!!).

With that in mind I don't have the slightest clue how good I really am so here's my guess on my skill level: I can dominate all casuals as Ness in Melee in less than 2 minutes, and I'll get obliviated by any competitive Fox and Falco player in less than 2 seconds.

Random useless and likely outdated trivia

What is this hitbox

Some random trivia and my gaming accomplishments:

• I beat Classic in SSBM on Very Hard (needing 5 stocks) as Ness.
• I beat Adventure in SSBM on Very Hard as Pikachu (Again needing 5 stocks)
• I beat All-Star SSBM on Very Hard as Dr. Mario... with 3 stocks.

All with no continues though!

• I 100%ed Super Mario 64, Sunshine, Galaxy, and Galaxy 2.
• I was number 14 on Yoshi Valley in Mario Kart 64... although someone might've beaten it by now... can't remember the exact time it was so need to check.
• I played through EarthBound Beginnings without any game overs... at least 4 times!
• I 100%ed the Battle Memory in Mother 3.
• I 100%ed my Pokedex in Blue... Mew included.
• I unlocked all the fighters in Ultimate... BEFORE THE UPDATE!!!
