- At Super Smash Bros. Ultimate World Championship 2019 3v3, Masahiro Sakurai has confirmed that the next DLC Fighter will be announced at Nintendo's E3 conference.

- At Smash 'N' Splash 5, MkLeo, Samsora, and Ally take 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place respectively in Ultimate singles; Wizzrobe, Hungrybox, and Leffen take 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place respectively in Melee singles; SuPeRbOoMfAn, tacos, and KeroKeroppi take 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place respectively in Smash 64 singles. Nairo & Dark Wizzy take Ultimate doubles; SFAT & PewPewU take Melee doubles; Darkhorse & Josh Brody take Smash 64 doubles.
