Proposition to rename page to Streetpass Mii Plaza(Universe)

Reason: The universe name for the stage is not Find Mii, but Streetpass Mii Plaza. Pros: Accurate Universe Name as per in-game stage information. Cons: Series symbol is specific to Find Mii. 104.35.10.1 04:45, 8 October 2014 (EDT)

What "in-game stage information" are you referring to? --SnorlaxMonster 11:41, 31 October 2014 (EDT)
I believe the only information he should have is the fact that the game Find Mii Appears in the streetpass Mii plaza. Please correct me if I am wrong.

I want to go on with the proposition continue, Find Mii just is part of Streetpass Mii Plaza.--Capstalker (talk) 22:02, 3 January 2019 (EST)

Hats

Do hats count as part of this? The Mii headgear is based off all hats available in Plaza/Find Mii--Flameduck (talk) 14:33, 9 November 2014 (EST)

Move

The Find Mii is part of Streetpass Mii Plaza, like games of Nintendo Land. and includes more content of Streetpass Mii Plaza in Ultimate, so I think should move the page to Streetpass Mii Plaza.--Capstalker (talk) 23:23, 24 January 2019 (EST)

Find Mii is technically a sub-universe of the Streetpass Mii Plaza. The Spirit associated with it, Dark Emperor, uses the Mii symbol. Each Mii related stage it classified as its own series, but Find Mii is part of a series of Mii related mini-games. I'm inclined to agree with you, but I'm not sure if it can. More than just Streetpass Mii Plaza (Find Mii included) related characters are classified under the Mii Spirits. (although Streetpass Mii Plaza makes up the most with 7 out of 11) If I had to guess, it'll probably stay the way it is for now. Wolff (talk) 23:53, 24 January 2019 (EST)
Not related to Mii series, Find Mii is not even a Independent game, it like the minigames of Nintendo Land.--Capstalker (talk) 05:52, 25 January 2019 (EST)
Yes Find Mii is as you said, but it is classified as a Mii titled game in the Spirits section of Ultimate. Find Mii is considered its own universe right now, and according to this page, a sub-universe of the Mii series. Mario sub-universes are separate from Mario itself, which makes sense that the Mii sub-universes are too. Regardless, because there is not currently any other elements relating to the Streetpass Mii Plaza itself outside of Spirits (which are classified as Mii series Spirits) in Smash, I do not know if we can rename the universe. At least, for the time being. Wolff (talk) 02:57, 26 January 2019 (EST)
I mean, in theory Find Mii is not even sub-universe, just a game mode.--Capstalker (talk) 04:00, 26 January 2019 (EST)
The most likely option I can think of is that Streetpass Mii Plaza would count as its own universe as well as Find Mii. All of the Spirits related to the Streetpass Mii Plaza, as well as the Find Mii stage and elements, would be mentioned on there. However, I do not know if others would find it unnecessary with them being included in the Mii series. Wii Music, Wii Party, Nintendo Land, and Pilotwings are also included in the Mii series.
I think a better question would be; "Should the Streetpass Mii Plaza be added as its own universe as one of its games is included in Smash?" I think the questions derived from the fact that more of the games are included as Spirits with no other direct content. Minor universes that are included as Spirits do not get a main page. Each Streetpass Mii Plaza related game (aside from Find Mii), be it by Spirit, Trophy, or Music, are listed as their own minor "universe". It could be that Streetpass Mii Plaza itself isn't actually a "game", but a menu with games in it (which by that case I think is different from Nintendo Land) One could argue with the Swapnote being its own major universe, but what it has over Streetpass Mii Plaza is that Nikki is an Assist Trophy. The Nintendo Badge Arcade also falls under a major universe with the Arcade Bunny being an Assist Trophy. Going by that, the only way for the Streetpass Mii Plaza to be its own universe is it gets a Stage in the future. Wolff (talk) 20:08, 26 January 2019 (EST)
My proposal is move Find Mii (universe) to Streetpass Mii Plaza (universe), extends to all the content about Streetpass Mii Plaza include Find Mii. The Find Mii stage belongs to Streetpass Mii Plaza universe too.--Capstalker (talk) 23:58, 26 January 2019 (EST)
I'm not sure if that can happen right now, plus I don't believe I have the jurisdiction to have made/carried-out that decision (even if a consensus was reached). Regardless, I think a few more people are needed to debate for that to change. Wolff (talk) 01:06, 27 January 2019 (EST)
I beleive that this move should ```NOT``` happen because find mii is represented by the logo it uses, streetpass mii plaza, if it were to have a universe in smash, would most likely use the logo of the arch it uses, not the logo of one of its games.Xtra3678 (talk) 11:45, 26 February 2019 (EST)
The Duck Hunt universe is a counterexample, its symbol is only Duck Hunt, but the universe actually includes Hogan's Alley and Wild Gunman. (I don't know if the official name is that, but I think it's better to call this universe "Light Gun" or "NES Zapper".) What's more, the Find Mii spirits are recorded as "Streetpass Mii Plaza Series".--Capstalker (talk) 04:39, 2 March 2019 (EST)

Is there any content for the "Streetpass Mii Plaza" universe that isn't part of the "Find Mii" universe that's represented in smash? If not, I don't see a problem with the move. Serpent SKSig.png King 18:07, 27 February 2019 (EST)

Yes, there is. Monster Manor, Mii Force, Warrior's Way, and Flower Town all have trophies in Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS. The former 2 games also have spirits in Ultimate, as well as Ultimate Angler, Slot Car Rivals, Ninja Launcher, and Feed Mii. SuperSmashTurtles (talk) 03:45, 2 March 2019 (EST)

Split suggestion

To be honest, I'd rather we make the StreetPass Mii Plaza page more like the Mii universe page and just give Find Mii its own universe page.

I feel like all the StreetPass games are atleast distinct enough to be considered their own sub-universes. SuperSmashTurtles (talk) 13:50, 7 March 2019 (EST)

I disagree, shouldn't split StreetPass Mii Plaza, because related Mii Costumes are not belong to any game, most of them were by exchange in the plaza. In addition, these minigames are not stand-alone applications, it's like Nintendo Land.--Capstalker (talk) 00:15, 8 March 2019 (EST)
They're not really minigames in the same way as Nintendo Land, though. The games in StreetPass Mii Plaza are more like games you would find on the 3DS eShop rather than games in a minigame collection. The games also have nothing to do with each other gameplay-wise or story-wise (with the exception of Feed Mii taking place in the same universe as Find Mii and very small cameos between games) aside from sharing the StreetPass feature and having the same Mii body-type.
And so what about the Mii Costumes? We can just list them on this page rather than tie them to a specific game.
And if you want any more proof that the StreetPass games CAN be considered separate standalone games, according to the Music menu in both Smash 4 and Ultimate, the game of origin for all Find Mii music is listed as Find Mii/Find Mii II or Find Mii II rather than just StreetPass Mii Plaza.
We can also treat them like Shin Onigashima and Yūyūki: 2 games that are technically in the same series, but are radically distinct enough to be considered their own things. I'm also only saying that Find Mii should be considered its own sub-universe, since it does have the most prominent representation of the StreetPass games in Smash. I'm just suggesting we turn this into something like the Mii (universe) page and give each game (that has representation in Smash) their own entry on the page. (As a sidenote, I also just think putting all the developers and genres in one infobox just feels awkward.) SuperSmashTurtles (talk) 14:31, 8 March 2019 (EST)
The biggest problem is that they are not stand-alone applications. I have no objection to list minigames on this page, but I only think of these games as game modes rather than sub-universe. If they have their own series in the future, then they will be sub-universe, but not now. It's like nobody's to think the Super Mario 3D World as the first game in the Captain Toad series.--Capstalker (talk) 00:57, 9 March 2019 (EST)
