Talk:Wavedash
landfallspecial
I removed the text about LANDFALLSPECIAL providing evidence that the developers programmed wavedashing into the game, as per SuperDoodleMan's research into the subject. --nealdt 04:06, July 30, 2006 (GMT)

Aren't we flouting their copyright, or at least the spirit of Wikipedia, by copying their information? Besides, the article should be about wavedashing, not pedagogy. I won't do it now, but I plan to completely remove the copyrighted information (which, to my knowledge, was not taken with their consent) and replace it with more pertinent, encyclopedic content. - Well, I'm largely underway. I'm keeping Tobias' headings but changing the wording and changing some ideas. Also putting it in a more encyclopedic way, removing "you" and whatnot.
- This is a nightmare of a writing job. Everything that comes out of my keyboard sounds awkwards and blocky :p --MaskedMarth 19:44, September 17, 2006 (GMT)
- Everything is pretty much original now, so I changed "Credits" to "External Links." I'd like to go through the article for a round of revision, just to make things clearer, but for the time being it is what it is. --MaskedMarth 20:09, September 17, 2006 (GMT)
Waveland
Should a new page be made about wavelanding, or perhaps a section about it be made on here and a redirect page to here from wavelanding? I was looking through the Wanted Pages section, and I noticed that the wavelanding page wasn't created.--Respawn 15:26, January 17, 2007 (GMT)
- It makes sense to me to simply have "waveland" redirect here. One can't very well learn about one without learning of the other.

- I definitely agree. I'm a mergist by nature because I believe that a lot of half-stub pages connected by link and relation topic is nowhere near as practical and appealing to readers as few largely developed pages that covers several closely related topics for easy reference. Anything strictly based on wavedashing should be dealt with in the wavedashing page. Erik the Appreciator 19:36, January 31, 2007 (GMT)
- I agree. – MaskedMarth (t c) 18:05, March 7, 2007 (GMT)
How did Wavedashing get its name?
Anybody know? WaluigiIsAwesome 13:29, March 12, 2007 (GMT)
- I'm unable to find anything about wavedashing that doesn't relate to SSBM. I thought I remembered "wavedash" to be a loan term from Tekken, but I guess I'm wrong. – MaskedMarth (t c) 13:48, March 12, 2007 (GMT)
- I saw wavedashing in a early Tekken video that I think was on the PSone (wavedashing as we know it, that is; the video was about wavedashing in Tekken). Still, I'd check a Tekken Wiki or something to vertify this. And if it is true, it should be mentioned in this article in my opinion. Definitely. Johnknight1 15:36, November 3, 2007 (GMT)
If brawl doesn't have dashing in it....
Would it ruin the game? It's such an important element. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Withouthatred (talk • contribs) {{{2}}}
It won't ruin the game. Just like the game wouldn't be ruined if it didn't have Online stuff.
