Event mode is a single-player mode that appears in Super Smash Bros. Melee. Event mode consists of 51 different events, each of which consisting of a specific task that the player must perform. Not all tasks are standard matches, and some tasks set special conditions under which a player will fail.
Upon first turning on the game, 10 event matches are available for play. Additional events can be unlocked as a certain conditions are met.
