Pros & Cons
The following list only applies to the SSBM version of Kirby.
Pros
- Decent horizontal and vertical recovery
- Difficult to fight due to lack of experience (few competitive players)
- Tilts cover good distance
- Lowest duck in the game (can duck under most characters' grabs)
- Quick aerials
- Ability to "suicide-throw" or "swallowcide"
- Good defensive abilities
Cons
- Generally weak moves, hard to get KOs off
- Many situations in which all jumps will disappear
- Light, thus easy to KO
- Very few ways to approach, due to a slow dash and air movement
