Judd (ジャッジくん, Mr. Judd) is a character in the Splatoon universe.

Origin

Judd is a cat who serves as the judge of online matches is Splatoon and Splatoon 2 by signifying which team won by holding up a flag. In Splatoon 2, Li'l Judd was added to hold up the flag of the enemy team.

In Super Smash Bros. Ultimate

Judd appears in the background of Moray Towers, in which like in his home series he and Li'l Judd hold up flags based on who is currently winning.

As a costume

Judd appears as a Mii Fighter hat as part of Round 11 of Ultimate.

In his reveal trailer, the Mii representing Judd is shown jumping out of an oil drum on Wrecking Crew, referencing the blue crate Judd is often found sleeping on. The Mii is then shown fighting Incineroar on the Ω form of Tortimer Island, and punching away a blue Inkling while a green Inkling taunts on the Ω form of The Great Cave Offensive, referencing his role as the judge of Turf Wars. Finally, the Mii is shown lifting a Special Flag on Moray Towers, referencing the flags he uses.
